(Internship 4-6 months with a possibility to extend)
Based in France with punctual missions abroad.
Serimax designs mechanized welding solutions (Saturnax) consisting of a “bugg and band” system. The operator installs a circular guiding ring (band) in a closed position on the pipe, then positions a welding carriage (Bugg) and then it is possible to carry out the orbital weld in several successive passes on a bevel. The objective of the mission will focus on the latest generation of equipment developed, Saturnax 09.
The electrical design of the Saturnax 09, including treatment of Neutral / Earth and Shielding.
The operational environment in which it evolves, including the disparity of power supplies and the potential EMC-type pollution that we encounter in on-site operation.
With the final objective: a) To characterize, quantitatively and qualitatively, the electrical power supplies (220 Vac single-phase and three-phase 400 Vac-480 Vac) necessary and sufficient for proper operation of the Saturnax 09.
To propose and quantify the modifications to be undertaken on the electrical wiring and the cabinet assembly of the components constituting the Saturnax 09, this to increase the robustness of operation within the scope of the power supply defined in a) above.
You are in your final year of an engineering degree in electrical engineering, and are fluent in French and English.
Autonomous, Rigor, Accessible and enjoy teamwork.
