Serimax Ltd, Part of the Vallourec Group is proud to announce that we have switched to hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) in our project diesel generators. HVO is a renewable and sustainable fuel that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional diesel.

This switch is part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and reducing our net emissions in line with global targets. We believe that HVO is a valuable tool for us and our clients that are looking to reduce their carbon footprint without having to invest in new or expensive equipment.

HVO is a drop-in fuel, meaning that it can be used in existing diesel generators without any modifications. This makes it a relatively easy and affordable way to switch to a more sustainable fuel source.

In addition to its environmental benefits, HVO also has several other advantages over traditional diesel. For example, HVO produces fewer emissions of particulate matter and nitrogen oxides, which can improve air quality. HVO is also non-toxic and biodegradable, making it a safer and more sustainable option for the environment.
